Audrey, Wait!I am still struggling through the audiobook of The Strange and Beautiful Sorrows of Ava Lavender. I only have an hour and a half left! I’ve never been so close to stopping a book in the middle. For my regular book, I’m finally reading Audrey, Wait! I’ve had this one probably since the year it came out and it’s been stuck in my pre-college book haul box. I like it so far but there’s something about it that makes me not want to read it all the time. I’ve been blessed with a lot of good books lately that have left me completely addicted, but this one isn’t striking that chord with me yet.

The Heiresses (Heiresses, #1)There's Cake in My FutureSigh. I love you so much Jenny Han. To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before was a great book that I can’t believe took me so long to finally get to. I’m so glad the anticipation didn’t ruin it for me. I cannot wait for the second one! Otherwise, I finished Bout of Books pretty strong by finishing 6 books out of my goal of 7. Included in that were There’s Cake in my Future and The Heiresses. I enjoyed them both a lot. My reviews for all three of these will be up within the week.

The Beginning of EverythingSince Last Summer (Rules of Summer, #2)Well, I mentioned The Beginning of Everything during last week’s WWW Wednesday because I was hoping to be done with my current audiobook. Since that’s not the case, I’ll be starting this one by the end of the week. For real books, I’m starting my Goodbye Summer Readathon! My TBR list was posted earlier today, and I think I’ll be kicking it off with Since Last Summer, because I’ve been so close to snagging the hardcover every time I see it at the store!

    • I know, I love the cover as well! I wish I were enjoying it more too. It just seems be dragging on without any real purpose or direction; it’s just a depressing tale about a family.

    • Thank you 🙂 I have a problem with sticking with themes. It was bugging me that my middle post area was small because of the two sidebars haha.
I’m not a fan of it at all. I’ve got about an hour left and you’ll see my review soon after!

  1. I’ve read The Beautiful Sorrows and liked it. It’s quite something, huh? I’m glad you enjoyed To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before, me too. Although I didn’t like Audrey, Wait!. The Heiresses is in my TBR. I hope it’s as good as PLL. Crossed fingers.

    • The Heiresses feels like a grown up version of PLL; I enjoyed it. Audrey, Wait! is okay so far – I’m never in the mood to read it. Ava Lavender is definitely different… I appreciate the quality of the writing but I’m totally bored with the story and characters

  2. Ohmigosh, great books there! And *sigh* I loooove To All the Boys too! ❤ ❤ ❤ The wait for the book two is so long. I cannot wait to have it. I hope it would have a gorgeous cover too. 🙂

The rest of your books–I'm still hoping I could get copies of each and more time to read. Oh, well.

    Here's my Wednesday post.

    • I wish I had more time to read too! To All the Boys was so amazing and I can’t wait for book two! Jenny Han said on twitter it won’t be out until spring(ish) next year 😦 too long!!!

  3. Ooooh boy! I see a lot of books on my own TBR on your list this week! A friend just gifted me a copy of Audrey, Wait. I just have to make time to read it. To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before and The Beginning of Everything are pretty high on my TBR right now. Hopefully I’ll get to them soon. 🙂

    Happy reading!

    My W… W… W… Wednesday

    • Audrey, Wait! isn’t bad so far. It took a good 100 pages for me to get into it for some reason.. To All the Boys is SO great. One of my absolute favorites this year. I’m almost done with my current audiobook, then I’ll be starting The Beginning of Everything.

I love reading your comments and talking with you! Leave one for me.
